Anne-Marie Istafanous, Founder and Principal

Anne-Marie founded CCS in 2007 and combines the substantive expertise of outside counsel with the pragmatic approach of in-house counsel to provide practical, responsive and efficient legal services. Anne-Marie was previously VP & Senior Counsel for J.P. Morgan Chase (Washington Mutual Bank) and a lawyer in the Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, an AmLaw 100 Firm.

Anne-Marie’s practice includes negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including cloud services, technology implementation and integration, AI, software, professional services, inbound and outbound technology, data security, and intellectual property. Additionally, Anne-Marie works closely with her clients to develop template agreements and deliver contract and negotiation training for legal, sourcing, procurement and sales professionals. 

Anne-Marie received her JD from the University of Washington where she also received her BA in Law, Society and Justice while competing for the Washington Huskies in Division I varsity golf, earning both NCAA and Pac 12 honors. Anne-Marie continues to play and compete as an amateur golfer. 

Anne-Marie is licensed to practice in Washington and Idaho.
