Liz Janis, Principal

Liz has over 15 years of experience as an in-house attorney focusing on commercial transactions and vendor negotiations. Most recently, she was Assistant General Counsel for J.Crew Group, Inc. where she spent 10 years supporting the Technology, Procurement, Finance, Global Supply Chain, Marketing and Real Estate teams as well as the company's international expansion initiatives. Throughout her career, Liz has negotiated and drafted a broad range of commercial agreements, including:

• software and solutions licensing and subscription agreements (ASPs, SAAS and cloud)

• services agreements (e.g., consulting, hosting, implementation, installation, configuration, project work, etc.)

• mobile and web enablement solutions

• warehouse, distribution and fulfillment

• global outsourcing

• digital marketing and analytics

• contingent staffing, recruiting, temporary labor, relocation

• commercial agreements (for back office infrastructure, telecommunications and other shared services)

• LOIs and commercial leases

• NDAs

Prior to her in-house roles, Liz started her career in private practice with Mintz Levin in Washington, DC and Testa, Hurwitz and Thibeault in Boston, MA.
